Transition strategies

In this Technoport Talks session we will explore a wide specter of different environment-friendly technologies and transitions strategies towards the green economy. Mogens Rysholt Poulsen will tell us about micro and nanotechnology, and how it has the potential to replace many of the today’s technologies and aid us in the transition towards more green technology platforms. Hege Marie Norheim will look into the role of natural gas – as a part of the long term solutions in a low- carbon society as well as an enabler for renewable energy in the transition towards a greener economy.  Svein Grandum  will look at trends in energy policy transitions in North East Asia. We will round of this Technoport Talk-session by a glimpse of the future. Dr. Heinrich Stuckenscheider, working with evaluation of future markets and opportunities for Corporate Technology at Siemens, will address the challenges of large cities around the world, showing snapshots of smart sustainable cities for a city in environmental balance.
