Conference venues
The conference will mainly take place at Rica Nidelven Hotel, one of Trondheim’s most modern and well-equipped business hotels. The hotel is located in the city centre and extends 17 meters out into the river Nidelven. Rica Nidelven Hotel has won the award for Norway’s Best Breakfast six years in a row. In addition, the hotel just won the award as Norway’s second best hotel, voted by TripAdvisor’s many travellers.
Some sessions and events will take place at Dokkhuset, Olavshallen and Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel, all of which are located within 5 minutes walking distance from Rica Nidelven Hotel.

Trondheim has a very compact city centre, so most centrally located hotels are within walking distance of the conference venues.

Transport
Getting to Trondheim
By train
Trondheim has train connections to Stockholm, Sweden and of course to both the northern and southern parts of Norway with several daily departures/arrivals. Please visit the web site of the Norwegian Railways, NSB, for information about prices and timetables.
By air
Trondheim Airport Værnes is located 35 kilometres north of the city. There are direct flights to Trondheim from several destinations in Europe, in addition to more than 40 daily flights to/from Norway’s capital, Oslo, and excellent connections both to western and northern Norway.
The bus companies Flybussen and Værnesekspressen have continuous departures from Værnes to Trondheim city centre. The bus stop is located right outside the terminal.
Værnes train station is in the immediate vicinity of the terminal and is served by both local trains running between Trondheim or Steinkjer and the long-distance trains along Nordlandsbanen. For an up-to-date timetable, please visit the web site of the Norwegian Railways, NSB.
Taxis are available right outside the terminal. Airport taxis at a fixed rate can be pre-ordered from TrønderTaxi or Norgestaxi. (Web pages only available in Norwegian.)
By bus
Express bus services to/from Bergen and Oslo are running every day, with departure/arrival at Trondheim Central Station, which is also the centre for all the district buses. Please visit the web page of NOR-WAY Bussekspress for information about prices and timetables.
Transport within Trondheim
Trondheim is a small city with a compact and pedestrian friendly city centre, making it easy to get around in the city centre on foot.
